IMET’s handheld transmitter


WAVE2C S is an industrial handheld transmitter that re-proposes the constructive and funtional standards of the well-known WAVE S, in a version characterized by a PLc level STOP command.

This makes it suitable for the control of all applications requiring strenght, reliability and ergonomics, but being less critical in terms of functional safety.

One of the novelties is the substitution of the NiMH Battery with a Li-ion polymer battery  that allows an uninterrupted use of the radio remote control up to 25 hours.

New functions, like the automatic frequency change with “AFA” technology (Adaptive Frequency Agility), a monitoring from a PC with a dedicated diagnostic tool, the PIN Code option to restrict the use of the radio remote only to authorized personnel, a LED that allows to have the sight of pushbuttons in dark workplaces, under poor lighting conditions and at night, are nice assets to have.

The pushbutton WAVE2C S can be equipped with a graphical display.

WAVE2C S is ideal for forestry winches, harvesting machines, recovery and tow vehicles, concrete mixing plants, dust fighters and other applications.

Automatic Frequency Agility (AFA)

As it is based on "AFA" technology, (Adaptive Frequency Agility), it avoids manual frequencies changes. The radio remote control continuously searches and selects the less impeded channel among the available ones. 

Event log 

IMET radio remote controls memorize all events that may have led to failures or unexpected stops, as well as the device operating hours.


PIN Code: Always in safe hands 

The new IMET range of radio remote controls allows you to set a customizable safety PIN code, so that the device can only be used by authorized personnel. This is yet another proof of how IMET designs and develops its products with extreme attention to details.

New removable and rechargeable LiPo batteries

Up to 25 hours of continous operation!
Compared wirh the previous batteries, the new Li-ion polymery (LiPo) generation ensures more autonomy and a negligible memory effect. The transmitter is equipped with an easily accessible battery slot that enables its fast replacement, while ensuring perfect sealing against liquid penetration. Gold-plated contacts guarantee a long-term, stable electrical connection.


Selection and motion actuators: maximum comfort at work 

IMET offers a wide range of selectors, pushbuttons, switches and potentiometers that can meet every possible demand in terms of customization. These components are extremely handy and suitable for long work shifts, even for operators wearing gloves.

Status LEDs: A little big help 

All transmitting units of IMET radio remote controls are equipped with LED lights that signal operating status, battery level and fault messages.


Neck wearing belt

The convenient neck wearing belt attachment allows the operator to have his hands completely free, and hence to manage easily the loading and unloading operations on the crane

Ergonomics: Functionality goes hand-in-hand with design

We pay utmost attention to details in order to provide ergonomic and functional products. This leads to small-size, lightweight transmitting units that allow for greater freedom of movement and a more comfortable and safe hand-grip, even in case of long work sessions.


Materials: No environment is too harsh  

IMET radio remote control housings are made of synthetic compounds that are compliant with the RoHS standard and able to ensure maximum performance in terms of robustness, mechanical and thermal stability (with operating temperatures from -25°C to +55°C), as well as resistance to aggressive chemicals exposure. Moreover, these materials are free from hazardous substances, fully recyclable and hence, environmentally friendly.
