The THOR M8 transmitter is equipped with up to 8 single-axis joysticks and is specifically designed for machines moved by proportional electro-hydraulic valve banks such as, 8 functions hydraulic cranes, crawler lifting machines and other special machines. In addition to the 8 single axis joysticks, the very wide THOR console has room for several on/off and proportional commands making it easy to customise the system for complex DC powered applications.

START button: …let’s begin

Standard command on IMET transmitters for turning the radio system into working mode. Horn command is activated simultaneously to signal the machine is ready to operate. We give you the certainty to begin in the best way.

IMET single-axis joysticks: for the best Human-Machine Interface

Forget expensive maintenance costs of traditional potentiometric joysticks! Thanks to the contactless sensing technology, IMET single and dual axis joysticks guarantee a long life and maintenance-free operation providing superb proportional and step control. Operated joystick radiocontrollers will then allow smooth and precise management of critical functions in a variety of industrial applications where a Human-Machine Interface is required. Available in one or two axis configurations, a choice of different proportional and step models enable the most comprehensive matching of the joystick to your application.


STOP button: Safety becomes protagonist

The importance of being first in safety is clear at IMET, in fact all radio remote controls feature the maximum level, CAT4 (EN 954-1), thanks to a product design widely based on the concepts of redundancy, monitoring and self-checking.The mushroom head mechanically latching button is protected against falls by a bumper keeping at the same time a maximum easiness of access.

Contactless extractable key: when details are important

Forget old metallic keys and their problems due to rust and not being waterproof, IMET proposes its contactless magnetic key as a standard feature in all radio remote controls. 

A “key point” detail for restricted operation to authorized personnel only.


Extractable rechargeable NiMH Batteries: an energy tank respecting the environment

Compared with the previous NiCd batteries, the new NiMH generation grants a larger autonomy together with a negligible “memory effect”. The transmitter is equipped with an easily accessible battery slot that enables its fast replacement maintaining at the same time a perfect sealing against liquids and dust. Gold plated contacts guarantee a long a stable electrical connection over the years.

Materials: synthesis of strength , lightweight and environmental care

In a near future, the environmental care will be fundamental and in this sense IMET already design and manufacture its products complying with the directive RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). The materials we use also reach the goals of robustness, mechanical and thermal stability and resistance to chemically aggressive environments.

All IMET transmitters are equipped with a led providing information about the working status, the battery level and coded messages.

Ergonomics: functionality goes hand in hand with design

Particular care is put in ergonomics in order to match shapes and dimensions to functionality. All this bring to a compact transmitter with a comfortable grip that facilitate extended use.


Motion buttons: under your commands...

All motion commands feature double step push buttons with large print for a comfortable use also wearing gloves and for long work shift. The tags are easily interchangeable and can be chosen among a vast range of standard symbols.

Control panel graphics: printed according to your needs

Thanks to modern digital printing, IMET is able to customize the graphics of your transmitter texts and symbols in function to your needs. For example, complex lay outs can be organized with colour coding of groups of functions improving the ease of use and reducing involuntary activations.
