THOR2 B may be integrated with the ADD BOX option. This option will increase the number of commands on the transmitting units, allowing for the installation of further buttons, potentiometers, switches etc. according to specific requests. It is also suitable for hosting a large screen (available also with 160x104 or  TFT QVGA 3,5” display) or LED lights, in order to display data and/or alarms coming from the machine/system on which the radio remote controller is installed.

The 3,5” color graphic display is available for the THOR2-model radio remote controls.  The high brightness (1.000 cd/m2) and the 65.000 reproducible colors, allow for a clear and sharp display, even in environments with intense sunlight.

It is easily upgradable and programmable via USB with a dedicated software.

The transmitting units of the ZEUS2 and THOR2 ranges may be equipped with a socket for serial connection to the receiving unit. With direct cable connection, radio transmission is by-passed. This helps avoid potential problems due to signal disturbances, dead battery or situations in which the product is used in areas where radiofrequencies are not permitted.

APT400 electro-hydraulic actuators are compatible with KRON, ZEUS2 and THOR2 radio remote controls and allow you to operate most hydraulic cranes equipped exclusively with manual commands.
Since the system does not have to be welded to the push rods, the original machine configuration will remain unaltered.
The electro-hydraulic circuit of the APT400 system was separated from the crane system thanks to a dedicated electro-hydraulic control unit. This helps avoid potential malfunctions that might arise if the system shared the hydraulic circuit of the crane, which is typically already worn due to heavy work conditions.
The control unit is activated only when operations are performed via the radio remote control (“on demand” activation), thereby avoiding energy waste and reducing both wear and operating temperature.
APT 400 actuators are calibrated once the installation is completed, using the radio remote control transmitting unit.

The standard actuator stroke is of ±13 mm from the centre and is suitable for most hydraulic distributors available on the market.
To accommodate special needs, the piston stroke may be extended up to ±20 mm with a specific kit.

Thanks to a specific flange kit, APT400 actuators may be connected directly to Walvoil SD6-SD8, Galtech and Parker manual proportional distributors.

This configuration requires removing the push rods.

Multi-receiver and / or Multi-transmitter configuration

IMET makes available to its users, special radio remote control configurations that allow, by a simple selection command, to macht one receiver with more than one transmitter or alternatively, several transmitters to one or more receivers. This is particulary useful when operating industrial cranes.
a) The available configuration are Tandem, Take/Release and Master/Slave, aimed at satisfying the most demanding operational requirements.
b) Selectable receivers: allow to select from a single transmitter up to 8 receivers or 8 combinations of more receivers.

This device can recognize unnantural inclination angles of the transmitting unit occuring in typical emergency situations:

- fall and trip over of the radio remote control

- loss of balance by the operator

The functioning of the Tilt Sensor ca be customized according to customer requirements and to the level of safety required: from the simple activation of predefined functions (i.e. horn signal), upto the suspension of all functions of the radio remote control.

KAPTA option allows to pair in few seconds a replacement of the units. For this purpose the transmitting units include a wireless reader and the receiving units come with a smart card.

Executing a proper procedure the units can be paired permanently and with exclusive control.

TwinB (double battery)

This feature is available on THOR2 and consists in a double battery compartment. Once the accumulator currently in use enters in the "low battery" status, the transmitter automatically switches to the second accumulator.

This process takes place without power interruption; hence, without transmitter shut down.

It is the ideal optin when the radio remote controlled machine has to operate continuosly for long periods of time.
